Are you planning on attending the RSA conference in San Francisco? If so, I'll see you there!

Moscone Center, San Francisco
April 16–20, 2018

Why Should I Attend?

After more than a decade in the industry, it seems funny that this will be the first time I'm attending RSA. For those who have been before, you probably already know that many companies rotate who attends each year in order to give everyone on the team a chance to go. If you are like me, and this is your turn, then you are in for a real treat.

To give you a picture of what there is to do at the conference, there are several keynotes, over 30 hours of educational sessions, and approximately 7 hours of high-level networking opportunities available throughout the week. In addition to that, there is a vibrant expo where all of the leading vendors have booths to display the latest in InfoSec technology. Taking a look at the map of the floors spanning both the North and South Halls at the Moscone Center, I can't believe the sheer size of this event.

So, what are you on the look out for at RSA this year?

Me? I'm looking forward to seeing the latest security tech, learning where the market leaders are heading, and meeting some of the new players. I might catch a couple of the keynotes, but I am definitely excited to walk the expo floor, get to see some old friends and meet some new ones. There will certainly be plenty to pick from.  Last year, there were over 43,000 attendees!

If you do make it to RSA this year, I hope to see you there. I can't believe it is almost here. This is going to be a lot of fun.

[Editor's note] LSC is not affiliated with the RSA Conference. We are simply happy to be attending and hope to see you there!
